What We Do

At Mulla Mulla Therapy, we believe that by providing you with an opportunity to engage in self-discovery and self-awareness, you will find a place of change, confidence and healing.

Why are we called Mulla Mulla Therapy?

Mulla Mulla is a wildflower that grows in Western Australia. It is an annual plant. The flowers spring to life in abundance after fire and rain; it is used in traditional Indigenous healing to heal wounds from heat, fire and spiritual pain. Most importantly, it assists in recovering trauma of the spirit and psyche.

Our Mission is simple …

You lead the way in your time; we support your process. We bring our knowledge, skill and empathy to your experience. Together we collaborate and move towards your recovery, goals and integration of experiences.

“I am not what happened to me, I am what I choose to become”.

— Carl Jung

“No other person’s ideas, and none of my own ideas, are as authoritative as my experience”.

- Carl Rogers

What does that mean …

At Mulla Mulla Therapy, we believe that the individuals we work with are experts in their lives and experiences. Everyone has the opportunity to grow and change.

Why therapy?

COUNSELLING - PSYCHOTHERAPY

The why is different for every person. Of course, we would suggest why not! As therapists, we have engaged in personal therapy and also professional supervision over many years. We understand and value the process of therapy from both standpoints. Within the Australian culture, we often dismiss the benefits of therapy. Therapy has the potential to support anybody willing to engage in the process.

Therapy is not just for when something is wrong in your life, it can be used to identify changes you want to make in your relationships, professional life, personal goals, change management, or if you have or are experiencing grief and loss, trauma, or changes in your health or life stage.

At Mulla Mulla Therapy, we are psychotherapists and mental health practitioners, and our team hold a minimum education level of Master of Counselling and Psychotherapy.

We see you as a whole person, not as something broken or needs fixing!
