Mulla Mulla Therapists
Kristie Dullat
Jingeri. Hello and Welcome!
I am honoured to live and work on the ancestral lands of the Kombumerri and Minjungbal Peoples of the Yugambeh language region. My deep respect for the Traditional Owners of this land, their ancient wisdom, and healing practices is foundational to my approach. I acknowledge the elders—past, present, and emerging—who continue to share the profound knowledge of 'Country' and its cultural healing traditions, representing the world's oldest continuous culture.
As a psychotherapist, I am deeply humbled to offer you a sanctuary—a safe and inclusive space where your story can unfold. When we meet, you'll find a curious, empathetic, and genuinely human presence ready to explore your unique journey. Together, we'll embark on a collaborative adventure, delving into your narrative and working towards a place of comfort and deeper understanding. I firmly believe in the innate potential for healing and growth within each of us, and I'm committed to being your supportive companion on this transformative path.
My practice is a tapestry woven from various therapeutic frameworks, including humanistic, person-centred, psychodynamic, narrative, attachment theory, trauma-informed, neuroscience, polyvagal, somatic, and deep listening approaches. This integrative methodology is designed to nurture your ability to co-regulate, feel safe, rest, pause, express yourself freely, learn, adapt, and ultimately flourish.
Outside of the therapy room, you'll likely find me embracing the natural world with my family. Nature is my sanctuary, offering deep rejuvenation and inspiration. Whether I'm discovering new coastal gems or basking in the presence of majestic gum trees, the beauty of our natural surroundings fills me with a profound sense of contentment and joy.
Storytelling and deep listening have been the golden threads weaving through the fabric of my life since childhood. My ancestry is rich with the tradition of 'yarning'—a practice I was fortunate to experience as a little girl, surrounded by the women in my family who supported each other through the art of storytelling.
It is a privilege to work with individuals who courageously seek positive change in their lives. I recognise the bravery it takes to show up and be vulnerable. Rest assured, you will be met with kindness, humility, and generosity at every step of our journey together.
Warm regards,
Kristie

I live and work on Aboriginal land of the Kombumerri and Minjungbal peoples of the Yugambeh language region. I pay my respects to elders past, present and emerging and will remain forever indebted through my words and actions for the shared knowledge, wisdom and stories of country, culture, community and connection.
As a psychotherapist I am honoured to not only walk closely alongside the courageous people that come and share their stories with me, but I am also honoured to help hold, get stuck, fall down, be messy and rise up… together. As a person who has always been curious about people’s unique stories and the power of healing in relationship, I bring with me a warm, grounded, spacious and relational presence that welcomes all parts of you and you and I, into the shared space. My integrative and collaborative approach to therapy acknowledges the inter-relationship of the mind, body, spirit and how such elements intelligently respond to the external field involving humans, non-humans, community and society.
I work from and through a humanistic, trauma-informed, polyvagal, gestalt, somatic, neuroscience and attachment theory lens. This means safety, relationality and body attunement guide the direction and pace of the session.
Outside of therapeutic work, I spend a lot of my time in and amongst nature. This is where I feel most connected and at home. You will most likely find me either in the mountains or on the coast sitting, walking or running amongst trees, creeks and the ocean.
My favourite thing ever is to either pack my rucksack and set off out bush or paddle into the ocean. Since getting my first puppy Freddie, I can also safely say exploring new parks and trails with her and my partner brings me much joy.
With my love for nature, combined with my personal experience of being in the client chair both online and in the therapy room, I also offer outdoor options for therapy sessions. This could look like moving, walking, or sitting in an outdoor space such as a local park, beach, creek or trail.
It is an honour and great privilege to witness the human-ness of sharing, uncovering and discovering the new, old and most vulnerable parts of self, together.
I look forward to working with you.
Warmly, Jess
